Mistfall Hunter Season 1 PvE Tier List

Last Update: August 11, 2026

Introduction

With Season 1 underway, the PvE meta in Mistfall Hunter continues to develop as players experiment with different classes, weapons, skills, and gear combinations. With so many possible setups available, understanding which builds currently perform well can make choosing your next character much easier.

This tier list ranks individual PvE builds based on their overall effectiveness across a variety of PvE content. Whether you are looking for a strong build for general progression, farming, elite encounters, or endgame content, the rankings provide a quick overview of the strongest options currently available.

The PvE meta will continue to change as players discover new strategies and balance updates are introduced. We will keep updating the tier list throughout Season 1 to reflect the strongest and most reliable builds available.

Build Rankings Explained

This tier list ranks individual PvE builds based on their overall effectiveness across different types of content. Unlike a pure damage ranking, we consider factors such as clear speed, boss performance, survivability, mobility, sustain, utility, and ease of use.

A build's placement also depends on how consistently it can perform throughout a typical PvE run. Strong damage alone is not always enough to reach the highest tiers, as reliable defenses, mobility, crowd control, or useful team support can make a build considerably more valuable in practice.

The current PvE meta strongly favors Shadowstrix, Blackarrow, and Sorcerer, with multiple builds from these classes reaching S Tier. Their combination of strong damage, efficient clearing, and reliable performance makes them some of the strongest choices for general PvE progression. Other builds, such as Seer, can offer more specialized utility and become significantly more valuable in coordinated teams, while Mercenary and Withered Knight generally rely more on their defensive strengths and straightforward melee gameplay.

The rankings should therefore be viewed as a general guide rather than an absolute measure of every build's strength. Gear quality, player skill, team composition, and personal playstyle can all affect how well a build performs in practice.

S Tier

Shadowstrix

Shadowstrix – Dual Blades

Excellent mobility combined with strong Wound and Stagger potential makes this one of the most versatile PvE builds. It can quickly reposition between targets while maintaining high damage, making it a strong all-around choice.

Shadowstrix

Shadowstrix – Daggers

A highly mobile burst-oriented build that excels at quickly engaging and eliminating priority targets. Its Stealth mechanics offer excellent offensive potential, although getting consistent results requires better positioning and timing than the more straightforward Dual Blades setup.

Blackarrow

Blackarrow – Bow

The Ailment-focused Bow build offers excellent sustained damage and strong performance against enemies that remain alive long enough for its effects to build up. Its ranged playstyle gives it great safety and damage potential, but consistently reaching its ceiling requires good positioning and accurate targeting.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer – Elemental

A powerful area-damage build with excellent clearing potential and strong overall damage output. Its large-scale elemental attacks make it very effective at dealing with groups, while its relatively straightforward gameplay allows for consistent performance across most PvE content.

A Tier

Blackarrow

Blackarrow – Paralyze Hunter

A strong ranged build that trades some of the Ailment setup's raw consistency for additional crowd control through Paralyze. It can be extremely effective when played accurately, but its reliance on positioning and aiming makes its real-world performance less consistent than some easier melee builds.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer – Stardust

A strong burst-oriented build that performs especially well against tougher enemies and priority targets. It requires more deliberate ability usage than Elemental, but rewards good timing with strong focused damage.

Seer

Seer – Blasphemer

A utility-focused build that brings strong control and anti-healing capabilities while still providing meaningful damage. Its unique utility gives it considerably more value in coordinated groups than its personal DPS alone would suggest.

Mercenary

Mercenary – Sword & Shield

A defensive and reliable build that combines strong survivability with consistent melee pressure. Its forgiving gameplay and straightforward mechanics make it easier to play consistently than more aim-dependent ranged builds, although it sacrifices some offensive potential in return.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight – Polearm & Shield

A durable control-oriented build that combines strong defensive capabilities with useful reach and crowd control. Its survivability and forgiving melee gameplay make it a reliable choice for difficult content, although its damage ceiling is lower than the strongest offensive builds.

B Tier

Mercenary

Mercenary – Hammer

A solid Stagger-focused build with good burst potential when enemies can be kept under pressure. Its relatively straightforward melee gameplay makes it easy to pick up and play, but its more situational damage profile keeps it below the more versatile Mercenary setups.

Seer

Seer – Reverent

A highly valuable support build that provides strong healing and sustain, making it particularly useful in coordinated teams. Its lower overall placement mainly comes from its more limited offensive potential compared to higher-ranked builds. In a dedicated 3-player team, however, Reverent would rank significantly higher, as its healing and support can be extremely valuable for keeping the entire team alive.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight – Greatsword

A melee burst build that can deal strong damage when it successfully creates openings through its defensive and Parry mechanics. It is relatively straightforward to understand, but its performance is more dependent on finding the right openings than the safer Polearm & Shield setup.

Final Thoughts

The Season 1 PvE meta is still evolving, and the strongest builds may change as players discover new setups, gear combinations, and strategies. Future balance changes may also significantly affect the performance and placement of individual builds.

We will continue updating this tier list as new information becomes available, with a focus on practical performance across different types of PvE content. Keep in mind that a build's ranking does not tell the whole story - some builds excel at fast clearing, while others offer stronger boss damage, survivability, or valuable party utility.

Whether you want to maximize your farming efficiency, tackle difficult PvE encounters, or find a reliable build for playing with a team, this tier list should give you a useful starting point for choosing a build that fits your goals and playstyle.
